Today is the day everyone’s been expecting anxiously. Microsoft will finally the Windows 10 April 2018 Update, but before this, the company launched a few videos on YouTube to explain a few of the new features that you’ll be able to enjoy with the April update. Here are a few features detailed below.

Windows Timeline lets you go back in time

The most important new feature that is included in the Windows 10 April 2018 Update is Windows Timeline. This feature lets you do a flip back in time and resume the past activities that you have been working on with other devices. More Microsoft apps support this feature including the Microsoft Edge browser and Office 365 apps.



 

Focus Assist lets you concentrate

Microsoft renames the Quiet Hours to Focus Assist in the update. The feature allows users to get things done easier, blocking all notifications, sounds, and alerts from other Windows 10 apps. The toggle switch is in the Action center and you can customize the Focus Assist according to your preferences from the Settings.



Microsoft Edge comes with a redesigned UI

The company is praising Microsoft Edge in Windows 10 April 2018 update and there are good reasons for this. The browser comes with a new user interface which is much slimmer and it provides more ways to stay focused online. It comes with new auto-fill forms that are linked to users’ Microsoft Accounts. It also brings a new Nearby Sharing feature that helps you share videos, websites, and docs to other devices via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
