If you’re enrolled in Microsoft’s Slow Ring Insider Program, you can now download a new Windows 10 v1903 build.

Windows 10 build 18342 is now available for download after Fast Ring Insiders tested it for three weeks.

The build is not available for all Insiders

However, keep in mind that not all the Slow Ring Insiders can download and install this build release. Certain game titles may trigger GSOD errors if you install this build on your computer.

In order to avoid such unpleasant technical issues, Microsoft decided to block build 18342 on the computers where these particular games are installed.

While the Redmond giant didn’t list the games that are affected by this problem, it mentioned that “Launching games that use anti-cheat software may trigger a bugcheck“.

We’ve also added an upgrade block for users of the most common games that are impacted by the GSOD discussed in the known issues below. If you uninstall the affected games, you can get the update

So, if your favorite games are protected by anti-cheat software, then you won’t be able to install the Windows 10 build 18342 at this moment.

As stated above, the only solution to get rid of this block is to uninstall the respective games.

Anyway, if you get any GSOD errors on your computer, use this troubleshooting guide to fix the problems.

At the same time, there is also a second category of users who won’t be able to download the latest Slow Ring Insider build. Namely, users who utilize ZH-CN as their base languages. Microsoft explains that:

PCs with the base language ZH-CN will not receive this update due to an issue that’s causing many common Chinese games to crash on launch.
