People are very focused on everything related to the Creators Update at the moment simply because it represents the conclusion of a pretty long journey which spanned over several months. Since the first time it was announced, the Creators Update has been taken through many test runs and builds releases on Microsoft’s Windows Insiders platform.
Now, with the Creators Update at the front door, the ADMX files are also available for download. The Administrative templates now allow administrators to manage the registry policy settings.
As expected, this didn’t fully pleased users, as multiple other problems have plagued the Creators Update release. But even issues that weren’t quite listed as problems slipped through. For example, one Reddit user who learned about the availability of the ADMX files, complains about the fact that the Creators Update Enterprise ISO files are still unavailable.
A reply to this inquiry came swiftly, and it appears that the Creators Update Enterprise ISO files will be available on the 1st of May.
Yet the actual ISO for enterprise hasn’t been released yet.
On the same Reddit thread for the ADMX files reports that it’s now very hard to remove a domain from a machine after the newest update has been installed, as stated by the user Dzov on Reddit.
All in all, the glass shifts between half full and half empty, varying between different users who’ve different experiences after installing the latest Windows 10 Creators Update build.
A win 10 pro machine here updated to the latest version and I had the damnedest time trying to remove the domain from the machine. They’ve completely done away with the Control Panel. The plus side is I now know how to do this via powershell.
