Windows 10 Fall Creators Update’s RTM build is build 16229.15, and it got released for Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring a few days ago. Soon after that release, Windows Insiders in the Slow Ring also got the update. The official ISOs for build 16299.15 will also land really soon. We don’t have a precise date of when this will happen, but we are assuming that we will not have to wait much longer.

Build 16299.15 reaches regular users after October 17

Microsoft will release build 16299.15 to regular users on October 17. This is also the last Windows 10 fall Creators Update build that the company sent to Windows Insiders. The Redmond giant will also release add more patches to the build in the coming weeks.

Additionally, Microsoft will likely also roll out a cumulative update for the Fall Creators Update on the same day of the public release that will include all the patches.

Zero new features ahead

This build doesn’t contain any new features, only bug fixes. Microsoft is preparing for the release of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, and the company hasn’t started to test out servicing this build with the Cumulative Updates via Windows Updates yet.

On a final note, Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is probably one of the smallest updates that Windows 10 ever got. It is still buggy, and this is a very concerning issue. Microsoft will roll out the update in different phases to Windows 10 users, so it’s possible that most problems and bugs will be ignored before the update manages to reach all devices.
