Although some time has passed from the official release of Windows 10 May update, many bugs and software issues still remain unresolved.

What’s worse is that new patches don’t solve the old problems, but create new ones. That’s the case with Windows 10 v1903 Build 18362.207 which has a lot of problems with high latency and audio spikes for many Windows 10 users:

The Windows 10 community waits for Microsoft to take some action and resolve the issue as quickly as possible, but there’s no confirmed solution to fix the audio issues for right now.

still here. don’t do that… i did a clean install and now i’m stuck with this mess, having popping/crackling sound and some microstutters here and there. tried everything and nothing works, i want to rollback to 1809 so badly, but i don’t know how to dowload the ISO, the mediacreation tool dowloads the 1903.

Things are getting pretty frustrating for many, and if you’re in the same boat, you could try a fresh install of Windows 10 or a rollback to Windows 10 v1809.

Also, make sure you have the latest sound drivers installed to make sure that the problem is from the patch itself and not from your drivers.
