Not so long ago, we have given a full review to the Windows 8 Fitbit app and now I’ve noticed that the popular fitness tracker app has received an update in the Windows Store. Read below for more details on this.
If you happen to own a Fitbit tracker device, Force, Flex, One or Zip and also a Windows 8 touch device (albeit it works on desktop devices, as well), then you are in need of the official Windows 8 Fitbit app (download link at the end). If you are interested in workout apps for Windows 8, you can also have a look at Gym Guide, that we have given an extensive review to, as well.

Fitbit for Windows 8 gets needed update
The changelog for the update doesn’t contain any details at the moment, but going through the reviews on the Windows Store, I’ve seen that the update seems to take care of the new sync feature. Recently, the app was updated to let you sync your Fitbit tracker to the app with the help of the wireless sync USB dongle, but many have been experiencing various bugs and glitches. Fitbit has now updated the app to take care of those problems, so unless you have ticked the option to receive updates automatically, then download the app by following the link from below.
The Fitbit family of products motivate you to stay active, live better, and reach your goals. This app enables you to view graphs of your activity levels, sleep and weight and gives you a clear picture of your health and fitness trends. Important: This app is designed to be used with Fitbit devices. Syncing data from your Fitbit tracker via this computer requires the wireless sync dongle be plugged in to this PC.
