Microsoft rolled out build 1711.171024-1923 to all Preview BETA and some DELTA Xbox Insiders.

The update consists of a few improvements to the setup process for new users, varied notifications, miniature Game Hubs, the ability to hide games with no Gamerscore and game gifting.

Xbox One feedback improvements and new features

  • For Xbox Insiders in the BETA ring, the Microsoft Store enables digital gifting of select Xbox One Games.
  • You will be able to add club blocks to Home.
  • Microsoft is improving the setup experience for both users and upgrades. The settings from the home console will be saved to the cloud.
  • Users’ consoles will back up more settings including TV and OneGuide settings.
  • The Xbox app for iOS and Android will enable users to finish setting up the new Xbox One console while it is downloading the day one update.
  • Xbox new notifications offer a status of what activities you can immediately step into after you had to step out for a bit. There will be added additional notification types when the system goes idle.
  • Microsoft is adding miniature Game Hubs for the most recently used games in the Guide.
  • Games with no unlocked achievements can be hidden from the personal and public view of users’ profiles.

Xbox  bug fixes

  • The update 1711.171024-1923 resolves an issue which prevented content blocks from being added to Home.
  • An issue which caused party chat to disconnect has also been fixed.
  • There are some improvements in party chat stability included in the update.
  • All issues with Blu-Ray Player have been resolved.
  • The issue that caused Dolby Atmos settings to reset after resuming from connected standby was also fixed.
