Not long ago, the app got the ability to allow users to pair more than one smartphone on the same account.

Now it’s clear that Microsoft has big plans for Your Phone because with the new Preview Build 20185, it also rolled out an update for the app that also lets you run your Android apps on Windows 10.

What is the new Android app feature about?

Basically, the new feature in Your Phone allows you to run the Android apps from your phone alongside your Windows application.

According to the Microsoft announcement, the app will run in a separate window outside of the Your Phone app, and you will even be able to pin that running Android app to your Windows 10 Taskbar or Start menu.

Who can use the new Your Phone feature?

It’s a huge catch here because right now, the app is limited to Windows 10 insiders. And even if you’re an insider, the new feature is firstly limited to Samsung smartphones.

Microsoft issued a list of compatible smartphones so check that before getting excited and installing the new Preview Update 20185.

If your device doesn’t have a Link to Windows option, you’re not eligible for this feature yet.

However, if you’re the owner of a  Samsung Galaxy Note 20 smartphone, Microsoft promises that later this year you will be able to run multiple apps side by side.

There’s no word yet about this feature being set up for any other phone brands but it would be very nice to see it in the future.
